COLDENHAM FIRE DISTRICT
NOTICE OF RESOLUTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the
Coldenham Fire District, Orange County, New York, at the regular
monthly meeting thereof held on June 10, 2013, duly adopted a
resolution, subject to permissive referendum, an abstract of which
is as follows:
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners had heretofore established
a capital reserve fund for property improvements and acquisitions,
which capital reserve fund is entitled “Capital Reserve for Real
Property and Acquisition,” and
WHEREAS, said Capital Reserve Fund has a current balance of
approximately $83,313.97, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners has determined that the
District should expend up to $40,000 for the resurfacing of the
truckhouse floor, storage room floor and utility room floor.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the sum of $40,000 is hereby
approximated for this repair pursuant to the general provisions of
Section 6-g, Subdivision 7 of the General Municipal Law and it is
further
RESOLVED that the Fire District Secretary, within ten days after the
adoption of the within resolution and in the same manner as provided
in the Notice of Annual Election, shall publish a notice setting
forth the date of the adoption of the within resolution and
containing an abstract thereof specifying that the within resolution
was adopted subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Section
6-g, Subdivision 4 of the General Municipal Law.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Coldenham Fire District, Walden, NY will receive sealed bids for resurfacing of the truck room floor.Bids on said item must be submitted to Coldenham Fire District in sealed envelopes and sent to Coldenham Fire District PO Box 10595, Newburgh, New York 12552 and each bid shall bear on the face thereof, the name and address of the bidder and be clearly identified as “Truck Room Flooring Resurfacing Bid”.Bids will be received by the Coldenham Fire District, until 7:00 p.m. on June 10, 2013. All bids received will be publicly read aloud at that time. Contractors will be advised no later than July 10th, 2013 of the status of their bid.Specifications may be obtained from Tim Besser at (845) 578-7950 or cfdbesser@aol.com. Please leave a message if there is no answer.Bidders must note that their bid must comply with the Laws of the State of New York and the “Non-Collusive Bid Certification” required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law, must be submitted with each bid.The board of Fire Commissions reserves the right to consider bids for a period of thirty (30) days after their opening, during which time no bidder may withdraw his bid and the right is reserved to the Board of Fire Commissioners to accept or reject any and all bids.

COLDENHAM FIRE DISTRICT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Coldenham Fire District will hold
regularly scheduled meetings at 7:30 P.M. on the first Monday after
the first Tuesday of the month for the calendar year of 2013. The
regular monthly meetings will be preceded by a work session
beginning at 7:00 P.M. The meetings will take place in the hall of
the Coldenham Fire House 511 Coldenham Road Walden NY. The meeting
dates are as follows: February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June
10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 7, November 4 and
December 9, 2013.
